One of the best ways to improve the marketing of your product or service is to check what your competitors are doing and try to incorporate the best practices.

Though the marketing method used depends to some extent on the some specific product features, the market for a particular industry segment is usually the same.  Similar techniques can be used to  sell  another  product to the same set of  buyers or  users.
